Hey! Look! Fall!

Winter is right around the corner, but I finally caught my first glimpse of Fall (or, as "Fall" as we get around these parts) and, damn it, I'm going to enjoy it. We had a couple days of rain, but it's been clear and sunny since. And it's going to be 70 degrees on Christmas day.

What's Mother Nature up to in your neck of the woods?

  1. Wow it's hard to believe you are just getting fall color there. I'll take 70 degrees any day over 20! :)

  7. I don't remember the leaves EVER changing color in So. Cal. Crazy! but really pretty. Our trees have been bare for about a month now and it has been really cold. We had a little snow fall from the storm you all sent our way. It was cool. I love watching the first flurries of the year. Makes everything feel magical!

  8. Central Illinois is 34 and breezy(feels like 26 with the windchill). The sun is actually shining but I put the BIG down comforter on my bed last night - the regular one wasn't cutting it.(I'm about 1/3 of the way through New Moon...and loving it!)

  9. Aww, that's such a cool pic! It's warming up in the Bay Area. Sunny and 50 degrees. We had a couple of super-cold last weeks where all our plants died and we actually had snow on the ground at 300 ft elevation. It was beautiful!

  11. In Owen Sound, Ontario, Canada (2 hours north of Toronto). Over a foot of fluffy white snow, snow squalls and 4 snow days in a row for the kids! How I love Ontario in the winter!! Haven't seen fall colours like that since the first of October!! Wouldn't have it any other way, either.

  13. Here everything is brown and gray and dreary looking. We've still got a little snow left on the ground from our snow of last week and it's in the low 20's for daytime high temps! We might have some snow this weekend again.
