Fine. Here. But when I give up and quit and you call me a failure, I'm going to say "I told you so!"

Alternate title: 1/365

They planted all different kinds of vibrant flowers in front of our apartment and now there's no denying that Spring is here and Summer is fast approaching. They're so cheerful and the ones above? My favorite.

I was hoping to go out and capture some pretty sun flare, but... it wasn't happening. Sigh. (I guess that means my camera sensor is pretty clean, though, so that's something.) (Yeah, I guess sun flare is a result of the sun reflecting off dust on your camera's sensor.) (Or maybe I just need lots and lots of practice.) (Here I go with the parenthesis abuse.)

Anyway. Can I talk comments for a second? I've deleted the BlogHer ads in my sidebar. I'm trying to eliminate, or just figure out, the problem. So, maybe give it another try? Let me know how it goes?

If this is the problem some of you are experiencing...

...all I can say is I've come across this same error message on many other blogs, but as soon as I hit the "post comment" button again, it goes right through. That has to be a Blogger issue. (Right???)

If it's something else entirely, I'm toast.

Goodbye forever.

(Not really.)

  1. Oh, I have that problem all the time. It's definitely a blogger issue. Blogger is also responsible for access problems I'm having with certain blogs. Grrrr...Picture 1/365 is beautiful btw :)

  2. Yep, blogger threw me out again and ate my comment. Just click the 'back button' and try again.

  3. There is nothing wrong with your blog. There was nothing wrong with Blog Her. You should put it back. It's all blogger.

  4. Foxglove, that's the flower in your picture. I love it but it won't grow here. Well ok it will but not at the level I ignore my plants at. If my hydrangea survives one season it will be a miracle. Zones baby, it's all about the zones. I have 3 roses that are supposed to be in a cold zone (with like snow) and they grow here but they don't bloom. Next winter I think I throw a bag of ice on them a few times and see if that helps.Nice pic, I don't even know if I can do the sun flare thing with my camera but I'd have to read up on it. Not going to happen anytime soon...

  5. I love your 1/365! Beautiful color and love that bokeh! Did you see Miz Booshay's post on sun flare? I'm going to try it this weekend, if we ever get some sun!

  6. Dutch Donut Girl, it appears I'm not the only one Blogger hates. Welcome to the club! ;)So, Teeter, what do you suggest I do? Change to WordPress? Suck it up? Kick something???Michelle, LOL @ "Next winter I think I'll throw a bag of ice on them a few times and see if that helps." Poor roses.Gayle, thank you! I did see her post. I've been wanting to give it a shot 'cause I think it's so pretty... but, like everything else, it seems like it's much harder than it looks.

  7. You're 1/365th up the mountain. As David Carradine's instructor(?) said in a Kung Fu episode- it's not how far you have yet to go, grasshopper, but how far you have come. Or something like that. And totally switch to Wordpress- I did a while back and I love it. Much more better.

  8. If it's bothering you that bad, suck it up and change to Wordpress while you are still a baby blog. It will be much less traumatic now instead of later.
